So, here we finally are. Feels pretty good.
The civil case against the Trump Org seems strong and with CEO, Allen Weisselberg’s pleading guilty to 15 counts of criminal charges and currently serving jail time, the future of the case seems strong.
Also on this day, Vlad Putin is having trouble keeping his world together, too. With having lost ground in his attack on Ukraine, people are protesting in Russia which is news in itself, because this is behavior that historically gets one prison time. It takes very little to be hauled off. However, they do not want to fight and Putin has run out of people to send to his losing war. Nuclear options are frightening everyone, but we will see how Russians deal with Putin and how far Putin wants to push with fizzling support.
Law suits are revving up against DeSantis for his stunts involving his kidnapping efforts. Yes, charges may include kidnapping. No one seems clear on where any of this is going exactly except badly for his reelection as Governor of the state of Florida not to mention his presidential hopes for 2024. Petty and personal in feel, it seems a similar vibe that’s reminiscent of former Gov. of New Jersey’s Chris Christie’s “Bridgegate” fiasco. A stunt that dragged on with awful consequences for people stranded daily in traffic and the internal blame game that showed more pettiness and cowardice. Not a good look for a presidential hopeful.
Forward we go. Patience is serving us, the people. We, the people who didn’t feel the itch to join an insurrection or cheat on our taxes. We didn’t lie to the banks about how much money we made. We live and let live. We donate to worthy causes and give “hearts” to people we don’t know because they say things we agree with. We will vote and we will prevail.
November 8, 2022 is election day. It’s a Tuesday. Vote. Thank you.
