Minority in Majority hold Congress hostage

The minority in the majority of the house has thrown sand in the gears, sugar in the tank. No one in going anywhere, no one is doing anything through congress until a speaker is elected. Two days, six votes, McCarthy loses every time. With luck such as this Russian roulette would be a great challenge to accept. Maybe Kevin will find a lucky seventh round of voting? In a seventh vote imminent, the house retired for the evening. Tomorrow, tomorrow.

Welcome to the coup. The coup has never ended.

The coup the GOP denies is ongoing and will be, likely until there are repercussions to the criminal deeds the committed. Subpoenas were not honored and also not litigated. There is a litany of charges likely to come for many in the republican party, in Congress and in connection to the denial of the free and fair election of Joe Biden to the presidency in 2020. The stealing away of the federal government, and at the state level will be ongoing until stopped. It’s taken twenty or twenty five years to put the right people in, but here we are. We are not alone. Europe. Ukraine although in a different spot is the work in progress of perhaps the plan for us all. I didn’t say it was a good plan or even one that can be accomplished, but even a whale can be eaten by a mouse. It happens one bite at a time.

Trump is no longer the guy to beat or head of the GOP. McCarthy likely threw away his chances by visiting TFG at Mar a Lago recently. But why and so suddenly and who is the new King of the dung heap?

Pet theory - When the eyepatch guy of Proud Boys fame, Elmer Stuart Rhodes, went to trial, he was convicted of sedition. Sedition means treason. He was convicted of treason because of Donald Trumps call to it. That judgement and conviction separated lots of folks from Trump. Before the fact, Barr smelled it and resigned. He knew. He didn’t rat out Trump either.

The judge in Rhodes case called the events of the day, Jan 6, what they were. Treason by those who set it up and attended. Trump asked people to commit treason on his behalf and they did. Trump committed treason and we all saw it, we know it, and there is plenty of evidence to prove it. Ignoring the event or calling it a riot or wanting to move along won’t help in the end. All the comedic moments are not helpful although so very satisfying. Below is what I’m talking about.

Democrats are standing in solidarity continuing to vote for Rep. Jeffries by staying for all votes. A good strategy for strength because if anyone leaves the chamber, the votes needed to win also change. Staying does not allow the numbers to change in favor of the Republicans. This evening as Republicans chose to adjourn, the Democrats we ready and willing to keep voting.

The tantrum faction of the GOP are only twenty members. They are well known for antics, stupidity, poor leadership and getting only desent done. No bills, few happy thoughts either. Guns, demands, projected lower lips are their brand. Bobert, Green, Gates, Jordan are the most visible and dedicated to anarchy. It’s not just their brand it is their activity. It’s a numbers game of voting and no one has a clear advantage. The twenty only have the power to block Kevin, denying him the 218 does he needs, since Democrats are voting in a block.

No plan or person to elect has been revealed by any of twenty to signal a direction that would bring a Speaker of record. Never Kevin is only plan communicated. That leaves a lot of room for discussion, of which zip has been opened for discussion, at least in disclosure to the public.

One of the concessions demanded by the Freedom Caucus, and McCarthy complied, was the removal of metal detectors upon entering the Capitol. Why would that be so important? I’m thinking it’s more convenient to bringing in guns. Why else? Got anything? No, me neither.

Treason Twenty are bing assisted by leader Elise Marie Stefanik and the rest of the party. Just as the January 6, 2020 coup was assisted by the whole party. They knew, they were informed. They were sworn into office to defend and protect the Constitution. They were silent.

The second anniversary of the January 6, 2020 coup is this Friday. Happy Coup Day.
