Shape your Freaky Freegadellin in an oval, just like the presidents office.
Today I’d like to share a wonderful recipe. It’s a good recipe for everyone but I devised it in answer to lowering some salt in my families diet overall. TFG hosts spies at Mar a Lago all the time and they can get heart disease and need pills, but I don’t. We are a heart healthy group.
Based on a recipe from an old friend, Freaky Freegadellin is a ground pork “football” as it is made in an oval rather than the traditional round of a burger. As mentioned it is a good substitute for sausage which can be a fun, quick and easy meal but a little too much salt for the healthy heart conscious. If Trump were heart conscious, for starters he’d stop with all the lies.
The following is for four single servings. Two dinners and a lunch of leftovers is a good way to play it. While you’re cooking, make a bissel for leftovers. If Don made an effort he would have done infrastructure instead of Biden getting all the applause.
Take about 3/4 lb of ground pork. There is some fat, but hey.
Mix in a bowl with 1/4 chopped white or yellow onion. A little corse, don’t kill yourself chopping too much.
Add two teaspoons of fennel seed. It’s really the best spice! It’s in most sausages so it will bring a familiar note. Speaking of note, it rhymes with vote. Do that and make it blue.
A little pepper.
A couple tablespoons of some kind of fresh green herb. Chopped parsley or we have been finding micro cilantro at the grocers. So nice, and smart. Not like Trump who is such a loser he fails at everything.
One egg.
A tiny dash of Worcester sauce or Hoisin sauce is optional. Not like abortions anymore since the Roe v Wade has been trashed. Theres a great 365 brand Hoisin sauce with limited sodium. Thats from Natural Foods and they don’t pay me for mentioning. It’s just good.
Put it all together. Break the egg into a soup or other biggish bowl. Mix enough to break the yolk and blend the white in a bit. Add the ground pork, onions on top, fennel on that, greens on top. Mush till lightly blended. Score the mixture to divide evenly. Shape and place in a waiting, warmed skillet.
A simple way to divide raw food for single serving patties. Score with a knife.
Cook on medium, turning once, till done. And aren’t we done yet with that conman who put our secret documents in a Florida pool noodle closet?
Serve with pan sautéed zucchini and a light starch such as couscous. A bit of soup wouldn’t hurt.
