So plenty of fanfare for the guy who took his family to a pandemic closure beach because he can since he’s governor and you’re not. He also did some awful stuff called Bridgegate. In politics and the law for his lifetime which gives him credibility as a politician and a record to see which is very much to the right on all topics. To the left of DeSantis on abortion. He likes gambling for Jersey and doesn’t like marijuana for a start. Hardly centrist but not a fascist. So good news comes in a sliding scale in 2023.

Christie entering the race for GOP reportedly along with Pence, these king buster hopefuls may bring a final bout to the legacy brand of Former and the regulars of the legacy brand GOP. Will we continue to have such little respect for these people? Continue to drag (wrong word?) them through the mud of public ridicule although they are the flawed product of a corrupted system, I’m tiring of the too easy punchlines that lay around begging to be used. Aren’t you? Gallows humor rules since ya gotta find levity anywhere it lives for now.

What will the ticket look like? Let’s ask Jack Smith who is likely, reported repeatedly, that Former will be indicted for one thing or another at anytime now. The documents case is likely first. Can he run indicted. Yes. Can he run from prison? Yes, likely. Will Elise Stefanik give him the baton? She seems poised as such. Each and every level of these questions also diminish by unknown increments to Former’s looming loss. This portion of the whole scenario is unfunny and serious.

Donald Trump is a messed up criminal. A loser and an old man. To dismiss what he has leveled at the good people of the United States is to dismiss a personal and fascist attack that we have not yet shed. People have been placed in government. Biden’s transition was hamstrung although he did not complain but got to work. Ukraine was pushed off our radar, the laptop (Hunter Biden’s) stupidity never left the news in an effort to hand Putin the land of Ukraine and allow him to renew a genocide of the democratically dreaming Ukrainian people who he characterized as Nazi.

Trump needs to be off the ticket not because he doesn’t understand Jello. He needs to be off because we can’t risk another attempted theft and the ensuing problems. We need to move on from a man who simply won’t stop his rally cries for fascism.

Everyday we try to move forward back towards democracy. The debt ceiling manufactured crisis has worked its way through the calendar. McCarthy did a good job in sticking us up on behalf of the republican Party. The gun he had was shy the votes he needed, but he gave it and the media a good run for being big and scary and generated money into politics for both sides.

A Biden win on Thursday may usher in a turning moment for the freedom circus. Marjorie Taylor Green must be in hiding making a plan as she’s been uncharacteristically quiet for more than five minutes.

We are in critical times. Now is the time to continue to stay informed.

War is ongoing in Ukraine with Russia not doing very well at all. The power structures are shifting and in every way, changing times are dangerous ones.

Looking to nature for inspiration and optimism, the tendency of the life is a tendency towards love and inclusion. It lifts and evolves. Destruction and death are all portions of life but not to be confused with the overall thrust of life which is life itself.
