About as proud as the Oath Keepers who have already taken the verdicts of sedition for their role in the January 6, 2021 insurrection touted by the far right as a touristic sea of patriotic folk gone “loud” in head shaking attempt at downplaying a firestorm event. You may recall Oath Keepers leader Elmer Stewart Rhodes who has taken tons of ribbing over the loss of his eye through mishandling his own firearms was charged along “with 10 other Oath Keepers, in the District of Columbia for plotting to obstruct a legal turnover of presidential power. Nine defendants were already facing other charges related to their alleged participation in the insurrection..

In reporting from the courthouse today the stars of the far right street fighters, Enrique Tarrio, Joseph Biggs, Ethan Norman, Zachary Rehl and Dominic Pezzola were all handed tough news concerning their bid for fame in the history books. It’s there alright as all but Dominic Pezzola may be facing fifty year sentences. Each, not as a collective. Pezzola is described as a late entrant to the Proud Boys fold with the jury found guilty of similar charges for their “Efforts to Stop Transfer of Power Following 2020 Presidential Election” but not of conspiring to obstruct the certification of the election dogging about twenty years in possible sentencing. In an update here, in most recent reporting, Pezzola, indeed has not been charged with seditious conspiracy. The DOJ securing four of five convictions to seditious conspiracy.

The charges hand more tools to Jack Smith in indicting the center of the conspiracy as the Department of Justice climbs the ladder of culpability from foot soldiers to generals and finally to the command center. This may reveal a creamy nugget or perhaps a tick with the bloat of souls that once belonged to the men and women he scammed in the name of “truth” but it’s just “truth social” anyway so never mind.

With CNN hosting DFG next week in what is likely a runaway televised hour to sub for Tucker Carlson’s fanciful rants of hate. Maybe they’ll just give him the hour ongoing.

How do we break the fever of the broken portions of our media supporting the criminal mind in Trump? It’s claimed that money is the reason as if that can be sufficient for the betrayal of truth or protection of democracy from the rolling authoritarian wave encircling the globe. They are the messenger. They are the wind that pushes our loss of women’s rights along with children, education, minorities, LGBTQ community and the planet as climate is changing before our eyes.
