When Kevin McCarthy loses his speakership which will likely happen after the debt ceiling toils are behind us, the law of karma will be self evident to all. Counting the days.
Simply, “The concept of karma was originally from ancient India, but is also believed in Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Jainism, and Taoism”, say google gods.
Karma’s a concept talked about in the modern west usually in some punchline ways. Pondering the reaches of what karma, meaning “action”, really is, the ancients observed in order to learn, just as we do today.
Complex new circumstances bring new stories using modern gadgets in a world that in many ways never changed of how things play out. Karma is one of those unseen flows of nature. It’s within us, it’s around us. We act, we are acted upon. It’s easy to see how the wheel of life gains its momentum in a push that slows only to be pushed or hit in a perpetual going surge. The more energy the more there is energy sustained in glorious motion.
Desire is the spark to it all.
Qevin wanted the gavel. He got the gavel. In Poe-esque poetry, he traded a piece of himself for it. Might be called his soul or just integrity. Either way. Never thought he might need it again. Anyway.
Negotiations, most unresolved Republican asks will remain unresolved. Biden has among their smaller demands, concerns and looming obligations. The obligation of his oath to the Constitution and the Constitution itself as authority to pay the damn bills.
As “the quiet Beatle” (who may be digitally confused above) of the MAGA political hostage team, McCarthy will hang his head. He will go back to his crew and be stripped of his precious gavel for his abject failure. It will be spectacular. It has to be.
Huzzah. Life will seemingly begin to turn for us all. Except Kevin.
Boo hoo. Kevin finally what he may really be looking for as karma dictates. A way out of politics.
