She waited dutifully for the news cycle to free up some space and just barely, after Biden’s terrific news of Brittney Griner being released and brought back to the states, spared from a painful winter not to mention the eight years plus left to her sentence in a Russian labor prison. In that perfect moment of lull as we beat the Republican stupidity from the news “why didn’t Biden get the other guy out too?” as if extricating political prisoners is an old fashioned Cantonese menu offering one from column “a”, two from column “b”. NO SUBSTITUTIONS reads the disclaimer at the bottom. - Thank you ~ the management (Putin).
Sinema looking a bit uncomfortable yesterday as she announces her move from the party of Democrats to the Independent column of the ballot.
She, like the he, has been a royal pain since day one. Frankly, Arizona doesn’t like her. Not anymore. The idea that everyone in Arizona wears always bright yellow and turquoise clothes, looking more like a thrift store mannequin, a swap meet Sal, a landlocked beach queen is just a scratch to the surface. Sinema announced her move to the Independent bin of politics reserved for the uncertain, unstable and in this 2022 cycle of word and politics, a move to independent means “spoiler” a very deceitful position. Eroded trust now trust undeserved. Kyrsten defends the freedom and the independence in her very manicured speech to her public, the worst breakup video ever. Better she should have left a post it note. Relying on outworn stereotypes and tropes of Arizona being the desert landscape of the rugged independent spirit. Those words are a cover for ‘don’t tread on me’, the other old and dying flag of Arizona. The yellow one with the snake.
Sinema could end up at Fox or as a run to 2024 against… Trump, DeSantis, perhaps a younger one capturing the anti old voter, Gatez (laughingly she typed) as an independent. Fine. She is lost in her life. Her bank account is plump and the sashaying across our timelines every once in a while is like a fat blonde version of Natalie Wood in “Gypsy” the fabulous tale of a stripper who never actually takes it all off, hiding her half naked torso behind a well placed curtain. What would be revealed? A woman with poverty in her background who has been wined and dined by the devil promising coin, bitcoin and more, a relative victim of the Russia/China machine of targeted political bribery? A Republican double agent being brought back into the fold? Simply a lobbyist lackey or democrat who has seen the light and that light is the enticing chaos and grift of the once hallowed Republican Party? I’m not going to think about it much anymore as Trumpworld implodes into the dying ember it was always destined to become.
Who will inherit the Republican right? That’s a clearer question than anyone want to truly grapple with. It won’t be Kirsten. It won’t be Jim Jordan or Mark Meadows. Trump, likely in prison or an expat living in UAE won’t. Really, that comes as a shock? Probably has a deal with MBS. Always thinking of No. 1.
Arizona is going blue. Not even Keristen Sinema can stop it. The independent spirit, the real one, in Arizona is one of kindness and sure, don’t bug me, even don’t fu*k with me on my land, in my place of worship. But kindness, fairness and many other ethical codes are the unwritten laws in the tough countryside and newer cities. Economics and its relative lack have made the residents historically self reliant. Economics and much more of their story turned indigenous tribes into jewelers and sheep herders and the Grand Canyon into a tourist destination, so rooms and hospitality were built. A state called The Copper State, was built mainly on mining copper, silver and gold. Now, Arizona is going to take its tech industry pioneered by Motorola, a Phoenix based company built in the 1960’s+ and go much further as we bring back manufacturing from China to the USA. Blue. AZ will be blue.

B bye Kristen, (insert whooshing sound of democrats waving). Yes, you will mess things up for the voting in the senate. Yes, you are a wildcard. Yawn. The days of Marx Brothers politics is waning.
Gari, I enjoyed reading your take on Sinema, especially your writing style. Refreshing! Thanks:)
Thanks for saying so and for reading.🙏
