Private v official acts, but HE doesn't know the difference.
With him it's all private. He is the exception, not the rule.
A unique individual stands before the world. He has placed himself for scrutiny of every act private and in public, a few even as head of government (arguably others did the work for him) and the one thing that’s being denied “the world” is the ability to decide. Our day *will come. For now, the onion is being peeled for us in minute detail.
His complaints about others echo and point circuitously to his easily seen shame once alerted. “They” are doing ……….. is what he *is doing. Cries of FAKE mean “I’m” lying. We understand the code, we only need apply it. Everywhere. Astoundingly, exhaustingly, everywhere.
Fake News is what David Pecker and Trump did together with Michael Cohen assisting. Cohen did his time in the slammer. (Recall, he was penning a book when on home release during covid. Bam, back in the slammer as he refused to stop writing. How many jailhouse books have been written, it was his right! First amendment.
Thanks Barr, tip o the hat. Back he went. But wrote the book. We will hear about the incarceration during this trial, maybe. It depends if the judge may find the info too “inflammatory”. Or if the prosecution even needs that info to prove their point to the jury that the plan was Donald’s and the plan was to obstruct the unsavory facts to the public. Melania hasn’t even been brought up as a concern in the conversation. It’s all about the election and election interference.
Trump delayed his trial through his capture of the 2020 election and this is his time in court to answer for the crime assigned to Cohen. So, Trump has avoided prosecution once already by gaining the oval office.
The plan for the three, all come out in Peckers testimony. In moments, it was said today by Pecker, that Pecker and Trump spoke about the plan, just the two. Trump referenced “it” as “our agreement”. Tah, effing, dah.
A detail that mattered to and expressed by Suzanne Craig of the Times - by Pecker. When all was said and done, after the plan, “our agreement” which included trashing Hilary, Rubio, and Cruz, all candidates along with Trump, in front page articles as well. The efforts led to the win. Pecker has been given immunity for his parts of the crimes. Likely why he is so amiable on the stand.
When all work had been accomplished, after all the media wondering if Trump really wanted the presidency, in 2017, David Pecker was invited to dinner at the white house, as a thank you. Photos of the White House meeting were taken, just as if Mr. Pecker were Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson. Well,…
In another side comment… here is Trump handing the key to some thing to the former Prime Minister of Japan. They are at Mar-a-Lago. Some say it’s the southern White House, some say Trump is doing a both sides thing or it’s for the base. I dunno. He looks pretty genuinely happy.
David Pecker was helpful to other celebrities over the years he said today at trial. Arnold Schwartznegger was one. But Trump a celeb? He’s head of a family real estate business. That pencil pusher. No? Prior to the Apprentice? Hell no, just an undiscovered celeb with lots of celeb power stuff, that stuff one can’t faux or fix or paint. Make them say I am. Make them. I am.
For years the Donald “got” Regis Philbin of 1960’s tv, and he simply used him to further his vague plan of establishing himself as a celebrity. Like the old days of Taylor and Burton. Tabloids sizzled with Debbie Reynolds, Eddie Fisher who also loved Liz Taylor Sad times for Debbie. The grown ups bought the papers in hushed tones and Donald would have been the right age to see these as the glamorous to emulate if that is what you want to perpetuate. Embody.
Gold and more gold, big rocks for his many wives and scandals where it is Trump that becomes the prize. Monroe would have nothing on him. He would not wish the President a happy birthday, he would be president. It’s a credible fantasy at this juncture. Works for me as any of his actual designs as nutty as they are,.. bleach anniversary just yesterday!
But how will he do it?
“Once called "the hardest-working man in show business",[7] he held the Guinness World Record for the most hours spent on US television (surpassing previous record holder Hugh Downs).[8]”
Regis Philbin and Kathie Lee (Gifford) prior to Regis and Kelly, were the morning fare for New Yorkers and a national love for the dyed in the wool all morning long news chats for mostly housewives, and retired folks. The show was much like Oprah before Oprah. Chat about NY and celebs in the news. Page six, and all that very “G” rated quasi salacious fun stuff. Regis used to go visit with Trump at Mar-a-Largo,… as good buddies do. Like Justice Thomas and Harlan Crow. Buddies.
Everyday, every, damed day, New Yorkers had to hear about “the Donald” as he was really called. And Ivanna, and then the breakup. Then Marla. All gross highly mysogenistic nonsense that was made to create the impression that the Donald was the most eligible bachelor in the world. Hotly sought. Women lined up. Pointed out by many, he wasn’t an eligible bachelor, but that was the vibe that was laid down and echoed by the Access Hollywood tape that had to be counteracted. He did this to himself. He was a phony catch. He was a gross man who dropped and touched and lied about it all.
Trump's overt political activity started with his publicly suggesting a run for president in the late 1980s. Ever since, Trump, the democrat, maintained a steady interest in politics, though he was not always considered a serious candidate.
Philbin passed in 2020.
Trump took to Twitter to write about his friend and mentioned that Philbin told him to run for president. “One of the greats in the history of television, Regis Philbin has passed on to even greater airwaves, at 88,” Trump said. “He was a fantastic person, and my friend. He kept telling me to run for President. Jul 25, 2020
Perhaps Trump kept saying “Hey Reeg, give me hand here. You say, Trump blah blah presidency, …. then I’ll say, (foot shuffle), really, me…????… ok? Come on, Reeg. They did.
It seems credible that this design was thunk up by John Barron. Pseudonym or now wondering with all the crazy we see in the courts, …. alter ego… multiple personality…? But he’s a media genius.
In today’s “red tie” courtroom, the scheme was laid out. David Pecker would catch and kill the stories unfavorable to Trump. Pecker had been granted immunity for his testimony laid out in this trial. For all Trump’s public complaints for lack of a better blanket of sentiments towards Michael Cohen, friend Pecker’s name hasn’t been emblazoned across any of the social media. He won’t be breaking the gag order to say he’s a lousy liar. Firstly, he’s not. Perhaps we found a true friend? He genuinely seems it aside from the truth telling. But understandable in the code of the concrete jungle that they created between them.
We all, the government and SCOTUS and congress and senate are disallowed to judge the guy who won’t be judged because he clouds the conversation with circular reasoning, hires lawyers that tie themselves in knots to prove the unprovable premise. Castles in the sand or sky.
For two hundred and fifty years ish, the stairs that led to the presidency were sufficiently steep and difficult to climb to keep criminals and stupid people from the office. So the Trump admin is a weirdness of fate? No, somehow, through simply being known in a certain light, this creep was able to step into power.
Birds of a feather do indeed flock together and as a group, can be very helpful to one another. RICO!?! Yesterday’s indictments of these guys and more in Arizona make it clear.
Also indicted, Mark Meadows, Christina Bobb, Boris Epshteyn, John Eastman, Jenna Ellis, (crying girl who pled guilty in Georgia case), Trump 2020 campaign operative Mike Roman. Trump is not indicted but named as unindicted. Oh, left out of the list and simply can’t be forgotten again,… guess who? Rudy. He’s back, you knew he would be.
Here is Politico to tell more on that new news.
Best news the abortion law from 1864 struck down.
The Arizona House on Wednesday narrowly voted to repeal a near-total abortion ban dating from 1864, capping three weeks of efforts that have galvanized national attention. The 32-28 vote came after passionate speeches from most Republicans, who described abortion in graphic detail and as contrary to Republican values.
Tenneessee, oh no. They have a law that allows teachers carry.
Vote Blue. Tell friends.
Thanks for being here. I wouldn’t be here without you.
