The Unraveling of Fox News and The Big Lie Officially Begins.

People lie to get what they want. To have you think something in particular because they want something from you. Or they want you out of the way.

Fox News will now have to account for the lies they told about voting machines and The Big Lie, everyday since November 3, 2020. That was the evening they first announced the last state to be called, Arizona, went to Joe Biden the actual winner, rather than Donald J. Trump, who was the incumbent. Then, quickly reversing that call, awarding the state to Trump for the presidential win. That along with Trump’s plan, got the ball rolling to seemingly endless recounts in Arizona and perhaps allowed for enough clouding of the truth to inspire Trump to make his Georgia call. I think that Fox calling the race for AZ, massively messed up Trump’s plan, which was to never give up the White House. Never concede. Which he never has.

The decision to say that Arizona was really for TFG and that he had won the election in spite of that thing called truth and the unparalleled safety of our elections, would become to Fox, THE PLAN. The caps are theirs. The reason to do that was not to help Trump beat Biden but was based on Fox stock potentially losing a lot of value. There was real fear viewers would leave for NewsMax and take their money with them. Fear of Trump and his ability to bring wrath and followers who aren’t afraid to intimidate and worse. And so, fear and the spineless, mix to usual result - a disaster for all.

Number two at Murdoch’s outfit, Suzanne Scott made the decision as it was told to me, to let people down easy. Still waiting.

Rupert Murdoch, the Fox Corporation chairman, emailed Suzanne Scott, the Fox News chief executive, telling her that Newsmax needed to be “watched.” Murdoch said that he didn’t “want to antagonize Trump further” and stressed to her, “everything at stake here.”

It seems once the decision to lie had been made, between the two, there is seldom a good way to get out of it. That would take courage. The die to lie had been cast. There were years, roughly 2016 - 2020 by that time, where all sorts of lies about masks, vaccines, covid, Hilary Clinton, Q, had raged unconfined although not uncontested as people lost family and friends to the MAGA Cult through the Fox News portal then to other platforms. We could think of Fox News as a gateway of sorts. Prior, the NRA and other folks we would come to know were infiltrated by Russian propaganda were also given strong representation. Going this extra mile seems bad but when you see the road down which they had wandered, there was little choice in the moment. I simply cannot imagine finding new ways not to crack, keeping the pretense, day after day for two years and about four months. Till now.

Through litigation by Smartmatic and Dominion, Fox News is being sued for defamation for some hefty chunk of change, a billion plus each suit. To summarize slimly, the claims of voter fraud included allegations of machines failing or being controlled, skewing the votes to Biden for the win. Although no fraud or machine errors had been detected time and time again tested by experts, recounts and judges rulings.The allegations of both fraud and failure of the machines persisted. People protested, people were harassed. The Big Lie was born in the USA and people became angry and Trump seized their reigns on Jan 6, 2021 and led them in his commands to an insurrection at the Capitol. Not the end, by any stretch.

Fox News was at the center of these lies being told by Sean Hannity, Laura Ingram and Tucker Carlson in particular. To be clear, every aspect of the broadcasts were supported by each and every individual that worked there. Management, talent, any writing support. It was pretty tight, too. Very few leaks. What came out through the courts was the support material that showed that all these people knew that what they were saying was a lie. From day one, they knew about the election being lost by Trump to Biden. They told the lie. They admitted the lie among themselves and every day they publicly denied the truth.

They admitted they knew that Biden had won the election. They lied to the American public and to the world. Neither Smartmatic nor Dominion will likely take Fox to trial until 2024 or perhaps 2025 intimates MeidasTouch, an amazing news source on YouTube. There is enormous work to get done now that the judge has determined there is reason enough to drag Fox News into court and try the case. They refuse to settle. Good for them and thanks to them.

The revelations that will follow because of the findings are catastrophic for Fox.

The revelations that will follow by individuals, I hope will begin to peel yet another layer of confusion and deception that is still so thick with hate, fear and loathing, everyone can feel it. A simple drive or trip to the store can be a death sentence.

Moving forward, moving towards the truth. Nothing could feel better than that.
