Under the heading of Really? George Santos secret Santa of bail, was being hidden. But some reporters took it to the courts and under a first amendment request to see the actors who support this troubled congress representative. The names were revealed today are the names of his dad and auntie. They are the ones who stepped up and are responsible for his 500K bail. He did not continue to shield them as he promised to in a court filing “I’d rather go to jail than let them be harassed.” As some kind of threat? to the court? Judge said, ok, your choice and I’ll give you till Thursday. Apparently George is not good on that statement of bold and hollow threats so here we are. Names are exposed. George is not in jail. Drama done for now. Dad and auntie? No pin in that necessary until it is. Case certainly not closed on Georgie.

Drama thy name is Republican congress. Along with some verbal hair pulling from the worst of the worst one can imagine the locker room agreements for Green and Bobert’s tussles. (MGT it’s said called Lauren the B word for stealing her impeachment articles template.) It’s as organic a scene as one of Krysten Sinema’s polyester outfits. And expect more in every way as the Republican talk is being more strongly challenged as Trump is being held to account for his lies, his deceit, the megalomaniacal selfishness of his presidency and the over reach of it all in his inability to return to private life.

Congressional equivalence of book burning continues as every Republican is scattering and trying in desperation to hide, cover, destroy, muddy all indications of Russian influence, Russian influence acceptance by the former guy and all his agents. Before you know it the teaming up of Trump, his “kids” and Trumps golf courses melding into LIV golf with the PGA has some very bad repercussions. This is likely going to the Senate for hearings soon.

In a letter to Monahan on Wednesday, the senators said the subcommittee would examine the proposed deal and the Saudi fund’s “investment in golf in the United States, the future of the PIF-funded LIV Golf, the risks associated with a foreign government’s investment in American cultural institutions, and the implications of this planned agreement on professional golf in the United States going forward.”

In more of the no jacket hearings led by Gym Jordan, Adam Schiff grills John (no upper lip ) Durham.

At today's House Judiciary Committee hearing, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) questioned Special Counsel John Durham about his report on the FBI and the investigations into former President Trump, and the activities of Donald Trump Jr. prior to the 2016 election. (A portion is below.)

It was glorious however by the end, Schiff was censured by Gym J. with his Democratic colleagues surrounding him as they chanted “Shame.” This censure opened the door for Rep. Schiff’s speech after his censure. It was a thank you gift to the Republicans for his badge of honor in defending the truth and upholding his oath of office. It also continued to air his thoughts about what the Republican Freedom Caucus and the party as an entirety is really up to. So pleased to offer the whole speech of an actual patriot who is also in politics.

Still looking for more on the John Eastman trial in California about him losing his law license. Not a doubt it will happen. The hearings that began yesterday will likely go another week plus. Below is John taking the fifth to the Jan 6 Committee hearings as they gather information. Pa-thet-ick. I don’t think the law license review will look kindly at taking the fifth or for the wild plan he cooked up. And picked up by the Boss! AND got to talk on Insurrection Day! Wore his good hat and charming scarf, too. He’s going to lose his license and it will only seem to shock one person, John Eastman.

In a different vein, we have been waiting for news on the submersible that was to visit the Titanic. After finding a debris field, it became apparent to searchers, the mission had come to a conclusion and the lives of the five souls following their spirit of adventure had also come to an end. Although it is not known exactly at this time what happened to the craft, it’s speculated that the accident may have been due to the vessel itself which was made of exceptionally light and sturdy materials becoming fatigued from prior excursions, failing and so breaking due to the intense pressure of the ocean.

Are the dreams of a billionaire any different than the dreams of a pauper? The whole situation has me wondering in a trillion ways as our discussions reflect our hearts and minds on the subject of putting yourself in harms way. How the issue of ability to pay to play figures into the story. The loss will be incalculable for the families and friends of the five.
