The nutcase on the corner yelling “Bullshit!” and Marjory Taylor Green could be one and the same person. The person on the corner makes you uncomfortable as you walk by. Distracting, sad, how to help, can’t help, tried, so sad, the other… is a Congress-
woman seated on the Homeland Security Committee. It’s reported that, behind closed doors, she yelled “Bullshit!”, at a General. Presumably not accepting the information at the briefing she just received about the Chinese balloon, (the first to be shot down). I mean, who does she think she is? Donald Trump? I’d believe that from George Santos but Marge?
Aliens are running the balloons. It’s been decided by the internet. It’s a clear signal to Republicans they belong in charge for life since Democrats are all in for China.

Pence has been summoned by Jack Smith to appear in front of the Jan 6 Grand Jury and answer questions that seem outstanding and relevant. “Why did you decline to get in the car?”, a personal favorite. Pence asked Trump if he should fight his subpoena. Yes, I will pause again for lol’s. It’s a big deal and everyone is speculating: Will Pence appear, won’t he? Will Jack Smith compel Pence or won’t he? It is a big deal. Pence has indicated a Jones for the Presidential seal on his stationary. Could he find support if he did or didn’t? Which would be “right” for Republicans in this climate?
Republicans don’t say much about Ukraine out loud as the language of supporting Russia tends to be more testing through social media, a kind propaganda beta program. In fringes of the right, folks think if Ukraine would just surrender the United States would be better off. Given a presidential win in 2024, Republicans would be practicing their Cyrillic and donning Kokoshnik, which are really beautiful traditional headdresses and also belong to Ukraine, so, there is that.

It must be said that in the years of the last administration to the way they continue to pretend to be in office, they could not then, nor can they now get anything constructive done. They got plenty done. Mainly ran up bills, diverted funds trashed science, education, the post office, crashed the economy and blamed it on Future Guy, all the while spreading joy. Well all of that except the joy part. Kushner was truly amazing. He kept getting the paperwork for his top secret clearance all messed up but still managed to wrangle 2 Billion dollars from MBS. Also looks like a new Trump golf course resort in Oman! Huzzah for the Trump family billions.

Now you believe them. When they said they would overturn Roe, they did in a bit of a surprise moment. A little leak, then pow. The GOP has no reason to lie about any of the dangerous policies they will implement. They lie, but for other reasons, like when they say something outrageous like shutting down Social Security, you will think its a lie. Florida is a preview. They will jerk Social Security and Medicare, the Supreme Court is poised to do just that. Oh, they said they would not? Ditto that about Roe. They were asked about the “settled law” of Roe v Wade at the all the confirmation hearings. Every one of them. We were all so careful. Just like with Barr. He lied at his confirmation hearing too.
Just as Donald J. Trump uses a top secret document folder to shield an annoying light at night, without a thought, he will dismiss the safety net you count on with similar nonchalance. In fact he won’t waste his nonchalance, it will simply be. Too bad.
