Media. Live by it die by it perhaps. The media soup is thick and hot and full of rhetoric that proves the horseshoe of thinking, a concept made pretty obvious if you use Xwitter much as a habit. Taking a slender moment to feature the Horseshoe Theory. I won’t tarry, but have it in your head, it might be useful to know, if you don’t, as all sorts of people are popping up with surprising opinions.
An article caught my attention in a terrific piece spotlighting the slip from the ivory tower by Ken Chesebro.
Mr. Chesebro, 62, a workaholic who brought platinum credentials to Mr. Trump’s shambolic legal team, is the third defendant to plead guilty for his role in what prosecutors say was a criminal conspiracy to create fraudulent slates of pro-Trump electors in six states, including Georgia, that Joseph R. Biden Jr. had won.
At one point the article may have been edited. No biggie, but it had said, I thought, that Chesebro, “oddly” or something like that, wasn’t a “believer” in the election fraud. Working on its behalf, there is the notion, that one has to be a believer to try to find the path for the election to be overturned No. It’s an intellectual pursuit. He didn’t believe the election was stolen and yet got on the bandwagon anyway? Perhaps a demonstration of just what a good darned lawyer and good guy he is? The need for inclusion. The boy called Cheese would be coolest. Point being: no one believed Trump won the election in 2020. Trump in fact lost the election and every person knew it but may have hid it. The Big Lie was labeled accurately, perhaps a first for trump. Should have been “Gimmie”. Maybe next time.
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”
- Adolf the Horrible Hitler
Donald used the idea Hitler applied to the behavior of Jews. His lies were different but the principle was the same. Tell a lie and stick to it. The more you say it the more people will consider it. Those on the fringes only hear bits and believe it more readily.
I’ll focus the point for a moment. Every person, everyone knew he lost. Everyone told everyone else. There was no fraud, there were no bumps or ridges to spell worry at the top, bottom or middle. Everyone told Trump. Trump said he didn’t and how would he know? He just did. It began.
Each person who stayed with the donald would have their reasons. None of them being in support of truth, justice and the American way. The Superman image would only be stolen to be of service but later…
Now each will have have a memento. Staring with Powell and Chese.
More from the big mouth flapping today and what will Judge Engoron do? It’s becoming obvious Trump want IN to prison. You’re sooooo “street” Don-aldTea. Would it by him more credibility? Votes. Yeah, vote that prison guy into the presidency. He may write? my kingdom for an eyeroll emoji! Mein Tsuris, it would be! (my troubles).
One last awful thought, in case you don’t know.
On October 7 the unthinkable, the awful attack by Hamas on Israel was fueled by drugs. A drug called Captagon. Hamas dead were found with more in their pockets.
This stimulant drug, also known as the "cocaine for the poor," allowed the terrorists to commit heinous acts with a sense of calmness and indifference. Simultaneously, it kept them highly alert for extended periods and suppressed their appetite.
This Monday would have been a court day for Georgia in the trials for Powell and Chesebro. Day off everyone! We will see about that.
Thanks for being here. ❤️ Love the company.
Just a couple of comments:
1. Regarding the horseshoe effects. A few decades ago I I read an analysis the the easiest people the Soviets converted from the defeated Nazi elites were the the most fanatical Nazis. Fanatical is fanatical.
2. I plead guilty. I forgot two things, #1 above and the P.T. Barnum saying--I think--that no one ever lost a buck underestimating the intelligence of the American public.
