The right has been begging, stoking planning and pushing for a war. Here. In the US. A thought so foreign to us we can’t seem to see it.

Terrorist groups like the Proud Boys and Oath Keeps have been exposed and many will be jailed for a score of years because of Jan 6. But what about the terrorist groups with lesser known patches and allegiances? How many grievance fueled haters? How will the future shape as the children losing their families today will grow up feeling how? Will they be forgiving of fate or part of the broken families and ravages of the undeclared civil war we are seeing. Which side might they take? Who will help them decide?

yep. It’s a war on civility, and on our bodies. The war is the most personal. No rules or boarders, no Geneva Conference laws protect. It’s a war in the style of Russian genocide of Ukraine. No rules of engagement. No fair fight. It’s in the church, the synagogue, the mall. We are living a version of the best worst Christmas movie staring Bruce Willis, Die Hard. Terror groups terrorize and limit people emotionally to control. That’s way they need the AR combat weapon. It’s necessary. Necessary. Every law took an inch, a notch, an increment on the thermometer.

The shootings, the “casual” murders are more than one per day based on how many days we have in 2023. Texas is the center of shootings and deaths for now as they lead the nation along with Florida in passing laws determined to send the nation back in time before relative peace reigned anywhere. The laws are poised to radically divide us in ideology that will inevitably lead us to physical confrontation in much larger numbers OR lead to a division where communities are bullied into a kind of compliance. Seems like a version of Nazi control of towns leading to pogroms. Hey, it’s still early right? And no kidding here, just nervous laughter. How else can we focus except to put some sugar on the bitter pill of losing our democracy by force.

The tide of guns is rising as we stand around in sadness and anger with hands tied as Republicans have fought for this “freedom” for year after year, throwing money at the process to engage the mouths that lie lie lie lie lie about guns, democrats, Biden, laptops. Any lie will do. If you have watched the E. Jean trial, DFG claims not knowing her etc.) Any lie about guns is more fun and much more useful than the truth. The good guy with the gun has yet to be a meaningful deterrent. Even police standing around waiting for commands, well armed, as in the case of Uvalde, they don’t save lives. They insult our intelligence and show who is in charge. Not us.

The view from outside is startling and embarrassing. See it and wake up.

We are crippled by the right. All of it. I had wrongly been blaming MAGA all this time. It’s all republicans. It’s the media that in one small instance has allowed a foothold of the Jan 6 choir. They are not jailed patriots looking for a voice. They are proven traitors given every advantage of the law to prove their innocence. It’s just one example. You have eyes. Wipe the kindness from them now. It doesn’t serve anyone. It’s part of the lies that only protect those who don’t want to make our communities strong. They seek to weaken.

Controlling the media is useless. Even Murdoch has lost control of Tucker Carlson, firing him in a last ditch effort not to be the channel of Tucker. Murdoch has no reason to shut Carlson’s trap except to stave off the bleeding of money through the courts and most importantly, the power Carlson was beginning to usurp from the Murdoch’s.

Every Republican looking, searching for a way to elevate more liars to office have to stop or be seen for what they are. It’s all the same party. The same agenda. The fever hasn’t broken. Haley is as bad as Trump. DeSantis is as bad as Trump. Until the disgraced former president is permanently sidelined from politics, there is only Trump. GOP = DFG (who is: Trump, Bannon, Flynn, Stone).

We don’t want to carry guns. We don’t want to shoot, maim or kill. We don’t want to become terrorists to control the terror and those that want to shoot maim and kill. We don’t want to wear patches, or write manifestos.
