Yes, sadly, the politicization of these devastating fires (and so much else) is "America the petty."

The song and Seal's voice...deeply moving, and perfect for these times.

Lovely and uplifting interviews with Fonteyn & Nureyev...and their intimate and soaring dancing!

Killer of a song, I had to end on a more uplifting thought. I had the privilege of seeing them dance many times. Funny I see more to appreciate now that I'm older and also dance is also somewhat different. They continue to be the phenomenon they were. All that stretchy stuff is exasperating to me. Glad you could see beyond it. 🙏🌸

This is a great essay. These are the questions.

Yesterday, a HS classmate, the kind of “rich girl” Hall & Oates sung about, felt the need to type these words and put them on a META platform: “You are crazy and need help.” I replied: “Aren’t you precious.” Then I made more art with her rude comment. Today I’ll write about it.

Strange times. How does a post truth, post shame society continue to exist? Asking for a small planet ✨🌎💫

Yes, she is precious.

You're brave to say. And kind too. An opportunity perhaps for her?

Post shame? I've seen a list in a former life. It just gets uglier and more painful. It's the walk to war. I do have hope though. We are in a pivotal moment every day and that must not be ignored. I recall my lowest moment and know it sparked an uphill journey. From the outside, I have no doubt some thought I was lost forever. We all have a low point. We have to find it for the country. All the acknowledgement of the mess is a good start. Heartbreakingly the fires is another opportunity.

Look forward to the story. 🫶
