Interesting Romanian history....🤔 Yep, "No Faux-King Way"! Great newsletter! I will listen to the Snyder video now; he is essential to preserving Democracy. Ukraine -good news. Thank You!
Really good essay. I saw “Jaws” first run in the theater. We went to the big city (😝) -- Salem -- to the brand new theater at Lancaster Mall. There was a long line to get in, then I had to sit way too close, SPOILER ALERT (as if a 50 year old movie needs one), when that head came floating out of the boat I jumped a foot. I felt cheated because The Palace, Silverton’s adorable theatre, was still showing double features.
Before Arizona I lived in a place called Bayside. In Queens and yet also on Long Island geographically. Jaws made a huge splash on the east coast but barely remember since it’s been on tv so many times. Can’t hear “doom doom” without knowing its jaws. Thanks always. ✌️
OMG. That would have been extra terrifying. That summer, I was afraid to swim in Detroit Lake, which is at least two dams and hundreds of miles away from the ocean. Sharks could not have swam up the Santiam River, but fear isn’t rational 🦈
It was the summer of Jaws. Maybe it was my age but I think back to how movies captured us all back then. Rosemary’s baby. “Shriek shriek.” Even nice movies. The Beatles and West Side Story come to mind.
Fear is not rational but it *will save you in a pinch. 🤩😂

Glad you will listen. We’re in a whole new place in the last month. The part I found so interesting was about all the possibilities right now. 🌹🙏
Excellent interview with Snyder -urgently important. Thank you for posting it.
Thank YOU for watching. 🙏❤️
A rather abbreviated example of “Due Process” for the evil Ceaucescues… a speedy trial, a satisfying judgement. Rule of law
restored, but only after the people made their voices heard.
