Sorry for the waking up answer above.

A simpler answer is that I have been getting deeper into human history, the histories and evolution of religions, philosophy, the impact of philosophy on ethics and morality--from Plato’s work in the Republic, to Stoicism, to Hume’s ethics and Kant’s deontological response, to Nietzsche’s beyond good and evil and much more--and applying these thoughts to my 25 years experience as an expert witness in the legal system.

I have concluded that the legal eye is ugly flawed and is developed to help the powerful.

The human race has always been at war and, I believe always will be. I have concluded that discussing right and wrong in war is a fool’s errand.

I could go much deeper but do not like one finger typing on my iPad if long.

I understand why you like this and I agree with him on many of his beliefs, but not all. This conflict is much more complex and there probably are no real solutions.
