In Hatha yoga, the practice of meditation, breath and physical postures teaches to control the breath, to control the mind and soothe the heart. The teachings which I took and practiced and taught in theory to others councils as the article shows in the end. Passion of all kinds are tethers to the world that will always excite. I personally gave into the world and my yoga practices have receded for me but not forgotten. One cannot live two lives at once. The path of union of emotion in the way suggested is truly a saintly path riddled with false promises. The path is not so simple. Letting go of deep love and caring is as necessary as deeply held negativity. Only the silence of the mind, the quiet in heart can find the goal, meditation where thought and emotion are still. Devotion is only a path that ultimately leads to the goal, stillness.
The human condition is a condition to endure I’m understanding better these days 😂✨
Yes, kind of, assuming I’m not misunderstanding you as I’m prone to misunderstanding. 😢♐️♐️♊️. I have always liked Camus’ ‘THE MYTH OF SISYPHUS’ and accepting the world—people especially—as absurd. Thus, accepting this I can find eudaimonia—not happiness as I believe searching for happiness is charging windmills—but some stillness where I can feel joy, awe in nature, curiosity, wonderment, kindness and love.
The article has one glaring fault. It didn’t explore the option as demonstrated by Nietzsche’s brother-in-law.
Very simple, buy lots of land in Paraguay and start a movement for white-Supremists to travel there, live there and work to further purify themselves. With proper marketing this place can be seen as a god given sanctuary, almost heaven like, where these crusaders for the righteous white god can prepare themselves for the return of Jesus who will murder people like you and me.
Cameras and Wi-Fi can be set up. The wi-fi so that a constant stream of speeches by Hitler, Putin, Trump and other iconic leaders can be viewed to help purify their souls. The cameras so that rational people can watch as they become diseased, starve and perish as happened with Nietzsches’s brother-in-law.
This is just tongue-in-cheek satirical humor as I do not wish death on them. Wait a minute, don’t they wish death on you and me? Hmmmmmmmm
lol. As mother said to me many times when I was a tiny thing, it takes all kinds to make the world go around. She was talking about the importance of all kinds to balance and make the world whole.
